Backyard Sports Courts
Interlocking sport court tiles can be configured to fit yards as compact as a half-court footprint, with drainage layer prep underneath to prevent pooling. A site measurement confirms the usable footprint before any surface or sport-specific line marking is chosen.
Basketball Court Installation
The builder will grade the site, compact a gravel sub-base, and pour a concrete slab at 4 to 6 inches thick with rebar reinforcement and control joints placed to manage expansion. A modular tile surface can go over the cured slab if a softer playing surface is preferred over bare concrete.
Commercial HOA & School Courts
The builder will assess the existing base or prepare a new asphalt or concrete slab, then apply a multi-layer acrylic coating with regulation striping for basketball, pickleball, or tennis. Perimeter fencing, hoops, and net posts are scoped into the same project so the court is fully operational at handover.
Court Design & Site Preparation
The builder will measure the court footprint, clear vegetation and existing hardscape, correct the slope, and compact the subgrade before any base stone is placed. Skipping this sequence is the most direct cause of surface cracking and pooling water after installation.
Court Lighting & Fencing
The builder will assess the court perimeter and power source, then position LED sports lighting fixtures on mounting arms to deliver even coverage with no dark corners. Fence height and post depth are set to match the court’s use level, whether that is a private home court or a shared HOA facility.
Court Resurfacing, Repairs & Maintenance
The builder will inspect the surface for crack depth, drainage issues, and coating wear before recommending patch repair or a full acrylic recoat. Delaying repairs on a cracked court lets moisture widen the damage until a full base replacement becomes the only viable fix.
Multi-Sport Court Installation
The builder will assess the site grade, select a concrete slab, asphalt base, or existing slab as the foundation, and install a modular tile or poured surface with line striping for multiple sports. Charlotte’s clay-heavy soil makes a drainage check a required step before any base layer is placed.
Pickleball Court Installation
The builder will grade the site, compact the sub-base, and pour or prepare the base layer before applying an acrylic surface coating and regulation pickleball line marking. Charlotte’s clay-heavy soil requires a drainage inspection at the start so the base stays stable through wet seasons.
Tennis Court Installation
The builder will grade the site, lay a compacted gravel sub-base, and pour an asphalt or concrete base before applying acrylic surface coats and regulation line marking. A drainage gradient of at least 1 percent is set during grading so the surface sheds water cleanly after heavy rain.
Tennis-to-Pickleball Conversions
The builder will inspect the existing surface for cracks and level issues, then mark pickleball court lines and adjust or replace the net to the regulation 34-inch center height. A shared-use layout keeps both sports on one court; a dedicated layout removes tennis lines for a clean pickleball-only surface.
